Virtual Tour: cabins
How do you compromise between comfort at sea and in harbour?
Double guest cabin: There are no portlights on the coachroof combing, and the main hatch has an integral blackout shade to make it dark for sleeping offshore or in high latitudes (we had a month without a sunset in Greenland ...).
All cabins have 120 VAC power charging stations (240 by advanced arrangement) for laptops, recharging video and camera batteries, etc.
Other features: fans, reading lights, and plenty of hooks and storage make it a comfortable place to live. The entire boat is outfitted with red lighting to preserve your night vision offshore (and the amperage draw is low enough to allow you to leave the red lighting on all night if you wish).
Each cabin has a boot locker and cubbies for personal storage, and the forward cabins have work desks. None of the cabins has a hanging locker - our guests typically would rather write up a diary, work on a computer, or store camera equipment than have a place to hang up their blazer.
